The collection of power supplies is fairly affordable, all things considered

Seeing as how most high-end products usually cost in the realm of hundreds of euro/dollars, the prices of the Cooler Master Pro Gold power supplies may pleasantly surprise.

Sure, they're still pretty high – these are top-rate PC PSUs after all – but not to a shocking extent.

The reason I'm even getting into this is because the company has just released the Silent Pro Gold line in Europe.

Made of two PSUs (for now), the range boasts single rail design and Japanese capacitors.

The 450 W model has a price of €60 / $78, while the 550W Pro Gold is priced at €70 / $106.

All in all, they are fairly common, design-wise, both inside and on the outside. The golden color of the box is the only thing that stands out really. Then again, that's precisely what CM intended. It wouldn't do for all its products to be restricted to the high-end segment after all. That would severely impact its revenue sources.
