Back in 1984, a Christmas movie came out unlike any other Christmas movie ever released: called “Silent Night, Deadly Night,” it proposed a serial killer Santa Clause who sought out and punished all those who had been “naughty.”

A remake has been made and it just got a brand new trailer. Check it out above.

From what I can see, this is a film that closely replicates the original, bringing to the table only a few innovative elements.

Even so – and despite the fact that it’s a green band trailer – it promises plenty of violence and gore to please diehard fans of the horror genre.

“Silent Night” stars Jamie King, Malcolm McDowell, Donal Logue, Ellen Wong and Brendan Fehr, and will be out on November 30.

The trailer is more than enough to give you a basic idea of the plot.
