Called Mini Center, it illustrates the meaning of the word “minimalistic”

Cubitek is living up to its namesake again, having launched a PC chassis that measures W 200 x H 250 x D 200mm / 7.8 x 9.8 x 7.8 inches. Obviously, it is only big enough for the smallest of PC motherboards.

And by the smallest of PC motherboards, we mean platforms using the mini-ITX form factor, which is smaller than even micro-ATX but larger than the specialized nano-ITX.

The new case is called Cubitek Mini Center and is made of brushed aluminum, on the outside at least. Minimalism is the rule here.

Speaking of which, there are no buttons, lights or ventilation ducts or mesh panels on the front and sides of the newcomer.

Any of that, Cubitek feels (assuming we're reading the press release accurately), would go against the main purpose, which is to make the newcomer fit easily and seamlessly into any room, regardless of furniture layout and type. The small size doesn't hurt in that endeavor.

Not to say that there aren't connectors and such. Two USB 3.0 ports are located on the top I/O panel, along with audio and mic jacks.

That said, the interior of the enclosure has room for everything that an HTPC (home-theater personal computer) could ever need.

Here's a rundown of everything: a 3.5-inch drive bay (for HDDs/SSDs/SSHDs/HHDs), the option to use the space for 2.5-inch units (2 max), space for 180 mm VGA cards (7 inches), maximum CPU cooler height of 85 mm (3.34 inches), and maximum PSU length of 150 mm (5.90 inches).

There are no fans, so whatever noise is produced will come from the CPU cooler and whatever fan the PSU has, if any.

The Cubitek Mini Center HTPC chassis will become available in August, for the price of €59.90 / $79. There is a product page that interested, potential customers can peruse until then. It is located at the other end of this link.
