Looks like GameTap is trying to spook us all this Halloween with several frightening games, including Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams, Castelevania &Contra an a brand-new episode of Hyper 5.
Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams is an improved version of the original Silent Hill 2, but includes all the
PC extras released so far. The "Born
from a Wish" scenario where players are able to control a Mania prior to her first appearance in the game is included. A sixth ending to the main scenario is also included and furthermore, players will have available a feature that will allow them to switch to a different film stock presentation.
GameTap thought to bring something for everyone, including something for younger audiences, who technically are not allowed to play Silent Hill 2, so Konami Collector's Series:
Castlevania & Contra will also be available on GameTap. Some more games like Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Gold and Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire will also be included in the GameTap network on Halloween.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Gold will not be the standalone version but the Desert Siege and Island Thunder expansions will be included.
