You can probably guess what their main asset is

The latest CPUs and graphics cards have lower TDP (thermal design power) than those of previous years. This, in turn, has reduced the reliance on high-power, large coolers.

Thus, makers of cooling products can focus on silence and compactness more than before. CPU and GPU fans primarily.

Not to leave general case cooling to wallow in neglect, Cooler Master is now introducing the Silencio FP Series of chassis fans as well.

Featuring the Loop Dynamic Bearing technology, they are exceptionally long-lived, guaranteed to work at least 160,000 hours.

Moreover, a new patented driver integrated circuit (IC) minimizes both vibrations and energy consumption, as well as providing more accurate RPM feedback (good for when you have a fan controller in use).

For those who want the numbers, the Cooler Master Silencio FP120 PWM 3PIN model has a diameter of 120 mm (obviously), a speed of 1,200 rotations per minute, a noise output of 11 dBA, and 38 CFM airflow (cubic feet per meter).

The other fan, Silencio FP120 PWM, is a 44 CFM pressure fan with 6.5 - 14 dBA noise range and top speed of 1,400 RPM.

Sales of both fans will start in February in Europe, for as yet undetermined prices. Fan jam protection, low starting voltage and special sickle blade design (high pressure, low noise) are featured on both.
