The Global Virtual Launch Event for the next generation of Dynamics AX will be held on September 13, 2011, and Microsoft has already given green light to participation requests from customers worldwide.

Obviously, the Dynamics AX 2012 Global Virtual Launch Event doesn’t imply any costs for participants, and since it’s almost three months away, there should be no rush to sign-up.

Still, it might be a good idea for customers, partners, developers, etc. to actually visit the launch site set up for Microsoft’s next generation enterprise relationship management solution, simply to check out the resources that the software giant shares through the online hub.

Members of the Microsoft Partner Network dealing with Dynamics AX should also make sure to head over to Partner Source.

“Many of you are aware of the multiple partner training opportunities we have associated with preparing your organization for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012,” revealed Kevin Machayya, Microsoft Dynamics partner channel.

“We now have an update for your marketing staff to help assist them with their launch activities courtesy of the US launch team. Later this month we will launch our campaign landing environment which will serve as our platform for the September 13, 2011 Global Virtual Launch Event.”

Early adopters can download the Beta development milestone of Dynamics AX 2012, which the Redmond company released earlier this year, and start testing it.

The software giant is still months away from wrapping up Dynamics AX 2012, and the Beta will provide testers with a preview of what will be offered in the final release.

Microsoft promised that Dynamics AX 2012 will be released to manufacturing in August 2011, but so far did not disclose the specific date for the commercial availability of the product.
