Sigma is well known for its high-quality lenses that rival the more popular Canon and Nikon glass, but recently various Sigma lenses have seen some compatibility issues regarding Nikon's new D5300 and Df camera models.

Sigma has already released a firmware update meant to improve compatibility with the Nikon D5300 and it's working to fix the Nikon Df lens compatibility as soon as possible.

According to CanonWatch, the Japanese optics manufacturer is planning to release the 135mm f/2 DF OS prime lens in September 2014 at the world's leading imaging fair, Photokina.

Following the latest Sigma lens releases (35mm f/1.4 DG HSM, 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM), we surely hope that this lens will also deliver an amazing optical quality.

Sigma is also rumored to launch its first interchangeable-lens camera sometime next year. It is said that this camera will be equipped with Sigma's Foveon sensor used on its SD digital SLR cameras.
