It seems that Sierra Entertainment really feels like working this year since, following yesterday's news about the new Crash Bandicoot game, today we find out that the company is currently working on developing three new titles for the Xbox Live Arcade, which will be released this year.

Coming this spring and definitely the most expected Sierra XBLA title is Assault Heroes 2, the sequel to the arcade shooter that kept everybody's hearts pumping. In this new title, you'll have to battle on land and in space against the never-ending alien forces in order to save mankind from destruction. The game will feature some improved multiplayer co-op weapons, hi-jackable enemy units (yes, you will now be able to jump in any enemy vehicle and start a surprise attack on enemy bases) and, just like every great arcade title, some of the most monstrous bosses you have ever seen.

Assault Heroes 2 will be followed by the summer release of Sea Life Safari. It seems that the XBLA version of the game will be similar to the PC one: you'll take on the role of an underwater photographer tasked with capturing the most incredible pictures humanity has ever seen. And you'll have 60 animated creatures to choose from and five environments, as well as an intuitive photo evaluation based on four criteria (size, orientation, centering, and interaction with each fish) and, as you probably can already imagine - endless replayability.

Finally, the fall (Halloween, maybe?) will bring us the chance to fight against zombies on our Xbox 360 consoles, since Sierra will release Zombie Wranglers. You will take the role of one of the four gallant apprentice Wranglers and try to save your neighborhood before it's too late. The game will offer you some engrossing, contagious humor (and no zombie viruses, we promise), enemies such as the fast food zombie, the skater zombie or the loving soccer mom zombie. Of course, since four characters are available, there is a four player co-op mode, too to turn Zombie Wranglers into the most interesting experience.
