Let thou who hath no sin cast the first stone (or something like this) seems to be Sienna Miller's motto from now on. Instantly catapulted to fame thanks to the movie 'Factory Girl' (well, to be more precise, thanks to the sex scene in it, which is reportedly for real), meaning, for something she did, the actress comes to the aide of her other famous counterparts.
For those who don't know, Sienna has spent the last years of her life in the tabloids. Because of her highly mediated relationship with British hunk Jude Law, she was always noticed and mentioned in the press. Her acting credentials, on the other side, were not much to talk about: she had starred with Jude in the romantic comedy 'Alfie' and had other smaller roles that didn't do much for her reputation.
But, now that 'Factory Girl' is out, she is in the spotlight for the right reason: her acting skills. Well, that and her hard partying life. You see, after attending to no less than three different parties on the night of the BAFTA Awards, the actress thought it would be wise not to point any fingers at other stars' wild ways.
When asked how she felt about what Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan are doing, club hopping each night of the week (occasionally without underwear), Sienna played it safe and defended them. Again, in case you didn't know, there is this tradition for the reporters to ask any female celebrity about what they think about the 'wild ones' in Hollywood.
Basically, the actress told 'OK! Magazine' that there is nothing wrong with Brit Brit and Lindsay, because that's what every other girl is doing, the only difference being that they don't have ten cameras pointed non-stop at them. 'I think everyone's entitled to their own decisions. Girls are doing the same thing all over the world as what these girls are doing, but they're not being photographed while they're doing it', Sienna explained.
Probably forgetting that the two 'girls' in question are supposed to be role models for others and that one of them is a mother of two while the other is seeking professional help in a rehabilitation clinic, Sienna added that it is 'healthy' to party the way they do. 'I think it's healthy for young girls to go out and have fun in their teenage years and early twenties. I'm not going to judge anyone', she is quoted as saying.
On a side note: Sienna ended her post-BAFTA night being carried away to her car by one of her bodyguards. It seems that she takes all those things she said about being 'healthy' to heart, by the look of this photo, taken on the occasion.
