Now this has got to be humiliating... But at least it turns out that even celebrities sometimes learn their lessons and want to prevent other celebrities from making fools of themselves. It happened to Sienna Miller, who despite looking better than usual and being the star attraction on the green carpet at the premiere of her movie Stardust, she found herself banned from her own afterparty.
Miller was reportedly forced to stay away from the 60,000 bash, which was thrown by the director Matthew Vaughn and his wife Claudia Schiffer in their Notting Hill mansion. Sienna, it seems, has developed quite the party girl reputation and rumor has it that the organizers didn't want her to mess up the evening. I mean, even celebrities read the press - and they could very well see what happened the last time Sienna went to a party and had one too many drinks.
Sienna looked nice in a white dress and high heels, and she sure didn't look like she was in for an early night. However, she had it - less of her own accord and more because the producers of her new movie Hippie Hippie Shake only gave her special permission to attend the premiere, and seriously instructed the infamously loud party girl not to attend the party that was to take place afterwards. In fact, I think that they were terrified of the actress doing what she knows best - getting drunk and picking a fight with one of the guests. Or maybe they're trying to teach Sienna some common sense by showing her a little bit of tough love. Either way, my money is it's not going to work.
And so, Sienna was not to be seen among the 250 guests (among which Jonathon Ross and Jemima Khan) that did show up and who - despite or maybe because Sienna was not there - carried on partying well into the night. Even more suspiciously, there was no sign of Sienna's latest sidekick and rumored boyfriend, Welsh actor Rhys Ifans. I wonder if someone stepped in and told Sienna to dump him - or maybe just pay some people to give him a forced shower - and then dump him. Or maybe Kate Moss finally gave him an ultimatum and made him choose. I sure hope so. But I'm not getting my hopes up - not for the moment.
