The Sidekick LX Tony Hawk Limited Edition is now offered by T-Mobile for everyone (everyone in the US, that is), after the handset was released, last week, only for users who were already T-Mo's customers. Well, now you can get a Tony Hawked handset even if you are new to T-Mobile.

The new Sidekick LX can be bought for $299 (at this address), if you also want a T-Mobile contract agreement for two years and a data plan of at least $34.99 per month. Otherwise, the retail price of the handset is of $449.99.

In these prices, T-Mo together with the famous skateboarder offer you a weird-colored Sidekick LX that comes with exclusive themes and graphics, as well as a grip-tape texture. Of course, the handset also packs the features that are included in its original edition: a full QWERTY keyboard for fast text input, a swiveling display, Music player, Bluetooth, quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE, Web browser, email, SMS and MMS capabilities, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video recording, MyFaves capabilities, external caller ID, pre-installed games and a 128MB microSD card (that can be changed with a bigger one).

Weighing 164 grams (5.8 ounces) and measuring 132 x 61 x 18 millimeters (5.2 x 2.4 x 0.7 inches), Sidekick LX Tony Hawk Limited Edition comes with a 1540 mAh battery that should keep the device functional for up to 6 hours in talk-time mode or 4 days in stand-by mode.

In case Tony Hawk doesn't mean too much to you but you still want to have a new Sidekick, the original LX is also available from T-Mobile, for $199 (with a two year contract), coming in two color versions - brown and blue.
