Shuttle's CES exhibition contained previews of products based on Intel's Atom platform and the Core i3, i5 and i7 processors. The company has been working on the J Series systems, whose existence was disclosed back in November, and re-designed all-in-one computers.

The all-in-one PC introduced by Shuttle is the X50 V2, a configuration powered by the Intel Atom platform with the Intel D5120 dual-core processor. The computer employs Intel's GMA3150 onboard graphics and may be designed with multi-touch capabilities. The product is made chic, slim and will “fit seamlessly into the modern lifestyle.”

The J Series will be the first product line from Shuttle to bear the new XPC logo and is a departure from the typical Shuttle XPC models through its support of mini-ITX motherboards. It comes in three models, each with its distinctive chassis design. The individual configurations are respectively aimed at the three different market segments, namely entry-level, mainstream and high-performance.

The entry-level Shuttle SG41J1 is built upon the Intel G41 chipset, which can support processors as powerful as the Intel Core 2 Quad. It employs the new “J1” chassis and uses the Intel X4500 graphics for everyday entertainment capabilities.

The sleek, stylish and compact mainstream J Series configuration is known as the Shuttle SH55J2 and employs the new “J2” chassis. Being designed for more intensive work and play, it makes use of the Intel H55 chipset and supports the recently launched Intel Core i3 and Core i5 central processing units, even supporting their integrated graphics capabilities (when available).

Last in the J Series is the SX58J3, predictably housed in the new “J3” chassis. This X58 system is aimed at hardcore gamers and enthusiasts, with its support for ATI CrossFireX and NVIDIA SLI graphics configurations, as well as for “the fastest, most extreme Intel Core i7 processors.”

The company has not yet revealed the exact pricing and release dates, but more information on its CES releases may be found here.
