Shuttle Inc., a company that specializes in the development and production of innovative mini PCs, is showcasing its not-so-innovative Shuttle notebook at CeBIT 2010 in Hanover, Germany. Our guys have sent in some pictures depicting an almost exact replica (a clone, if you will) of Apple’s aluminum, unibody MacBook.

“We are not only looking forward to every visitor of our stand we are welcoming in person – even if you cannot attend this exciting event in Hannover, we would like to give you the opportunity to have a sneak peek at all the new Shuttle models on display at CeBIT,” the company says on its website.

Without fail, Softpedia’s Technology News Editor, Traian Teglet, is taking shots of everything on display at CeBIT 2010 as we speak. The latest pictures our editor has sent in depict a notebook computer by original design manufacturer (ODM) Shuttle. Readers will agree it looks strikingly similar to the current Apple MacBook Pro line. From what we hear, it’s got a 14-inch display and runs on Intel’s Calpella architecture.

From the glossy screen to the aluminum finish, from the black bezel to the keyboard, this portable computer is a MacBook featuring a Windows key, and a slightly offset trackpad. We assume it's not as powerful as the top MacBook Pro configurations, albeit not as expensive either. When the device goes on sale (if Apple doesn’t set any roadblocks into place), it may, or may not be stamped with the Shuttle name.

Shuttle notebook (CeBIT 2010)

Apple is notorious for the restrictions it imposes when it comes to its products’ names, design, and even their underlying software. While the Shuttle doesn’t look exactly like the unibody line of Apple notebooks, it is similar enough to upset high-ups at the One Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino. We’re dying to see what you think, so share your thoughts in the comments.

I don't see if they don't break into any copyright why they can not do a similar looking computer. A Mac is always a Mac, and if they show the apple logo on their product... man that's another thing. Let them try. We have to think that the to benefit from design is the consumer.

Personally thinking is although Shuttle's product has similar feeling like MAC.
But if you compare carefully, Shuttle's product looks "better" than MAC especially at the wall thickness around the system.
BTW, the IO port is also looks much better than MAC, and also enough IO port to fulfill user's behavior.
Not as MAC, the IO is really not convenient.

I don't know how expensive it will be, but if it is not so expensive as MAC, then it is really good to user for better choice.
How do you think?
