14 DAY TRIAL // Headphones come in many forms and cover many ranges of sound quality, and Shure wanted the latter to be wide indeed when it made the SRH1540 Premium Closed-Back Headphones.
Which is to say, the new headset boasts a very wide frequency range, with extended highs and warm bass sounds.
Two 40 mm neodymium drivers are used, hidden within the folds of the large closed-back headset.
Speaking of which, the product is built with aluminum alloy and carbon fiber, as well as maximum sound isolation.
The newcomer also has steel-driver frames and a vented center pole piece (better linearity and lower internal resonance).
As for the headband, it is fully adjustable and light enough to wear for hours, or so Shure says.
