Company makes plastic splints that promise to give guys and gals a perfectly narrow and annoyingly straight nose

Just a few days ago, we talked about how some people are willing to break their bones hoping that this would help them grow taller. Apparently, others have no trouble shoving splints up their nose simply because they are not satisfied with the schnoz nature gave them.

The splints, designed and manufactured by a Korean company, promise to help guys and gals get the perfectly narrow and annoyingly straight nose that they have been dreaming about for years without having to undergo cosmetic surgery to attain it. No joke.

Introducing Nose Secret

These splints that supposedly can transform the shape and the size of a person's honker are marketed under the name of Nose Secret. They are made of plastic, and once inside the nose, they push and shove cartilages up to the point that they transform one's facial features.

Specifically, Oddity Central tells us that the plastic splints are designed to push the top part of the nose up, and in doing so, they make the nostrils appear narrower than they really are. Word has it that they can even make crooked noses appear straight.

The company making and marketing these nose splints says that, with some practice, guys and gals can learn to insert and remove the splints in just a few seconds. Otherwise put, there is no way getting the perfect honker could possibly be any easier or faster.

In case anyone was wondering, Nose Secret sells in kits, each with a price tag of $34.95 (roughly €30). Since no honkers are the same, these kits include splints in different sizes, i.e. XS, S and M for a small nose, S, M and L for an average-sized nose, and M, L and XL for those with a bigger honker.

Mind you, there are some downsides

Let's face it, being able to transform one's facial features in just a few seconds and without needing help from a doctor does sound fairly appealing. Still, this does not change the fact that shoving plastic splints up one's nose is a rather risky thing to do.

In fact, the company making and selling these splints insists that Nose Secret should not be worn when playing sports or sleeping. Well, not unless one thinks looking good is more important than making sure that no foreign objects block their airways and kill them.

Besides, it appears that Nose Secret is not designed to be worn for hours on end at a time. Instead, folks should remove the plastic splints after, say, enjoying a nice dinner out with friends and making them terribly jealous of their new narrow and perfectly straight schnoz.
