Shotest Shogi was initially a PC exclusive game developed by AI Factory and published by Rubicon Development, but it will be ported to Xbox 360 consoles via the XBLA service. The game represents the virtual remake of Japan's rival to traditional chess, Shogi and promises to offer everybody who tries it endless hours of entertainment.

The game is expected to be released soon and the developers hope it will be more successful than its PC relative which was instantly ignored by the western population. It seems that if chess is not a very popular sport, neither are its rivals. On the other hand, the Xbox 360 has what it takes to set new trends.
