Being a short male obviously has its inconveniences.I am 48 yrs old and barely 5'0 tall.Infact i am really 4'11 but being a male i like to round it up.I do on occassions get caught out by people when they say are you sure has i am 5'2 and you are abit shorterter than 5'0.Of course i am jealous of other tall males i mean it is harder to compete on a physical scale with them.I do however have my own business and have inexcess of 60 members of staff.That is the only time i feel like a big man when i walk into my office and lookout to see what i have got.Dont forget alot of peoples height is down to genetics take my mum she was 5'7 and dad he was 5'4.I didnt think i was destined to be a tall guy.Saying that i do have a younger sister who is much taller than me she got our mums height and reached 5'8.Even taller when she wants to wear her heels.I always looked to be in her shadow while growing up has i was only a year older than her.I was only taller than her for a short while.We were genuninly on a parr untill she reached 12 she was edging upwards.I managed to work out that it wasnt only my dads doing but my grandmother she was only a shortie like me and dad.She was lucky enough to grace the big 5'0 unlike me.It took me years to get over being jealous of my sister has non one believed i was the older out of the 2 of us.I was always the one being carded in clubs when i went out.So i must admit we do have abit of jealously in us but not that i show it now.I have a son who is taller than me has he got his mums height he is now 5'10 and our daughter is sadly for her a shortie she only managed to reach 4'10.She is always happy to say that her height never bothers her has i have always showed her the way in getting what we want and how to.So yes it is down to genetics.

I wouldnt like to admit to being jealous of another guy over my height.Okay they maybe a quite a few inches taller than me.That is what makes me stand out i suppose.I mean it would be a pretty boring place if we were all the same hey.I am now 21 yrs old and 4'10 tall i know that i aint gonna grow no more so i have to accept it.It is to do with having short parents so what did i expect i mean my mum was 5'2 and dad 5'4.My older brother is 5'6 and younger sister is 5'0.I have tried to meet woman but alot seem turned off by my height.I am forever being told sorry but if only you were taller.I mean some of these woman are bang on my height it isnat as if i am asking really tall woman.I just want someone near to my height has it would look pretty stupid me with a woman like 5'9.There is a woman at work who i get on well with and she seem interested.I think she is about 4'11 and with her heels on around 5'2.I will give it a go and see what happens.I cant work out why i am shorter than my siblings has i would like to have been similar in height.I still dont let it get me down though has i just work with what i have.

I love being short has if i wasnt i would never have found my dream guy.I am 5'0 tall and my husband is 5'1.There is nothing i like more than to be eye level with him.The only time i may be taller is when i wear my heels and then when we are home i kick them off.Steven tells me that he struggled with his height while growing up he had to take alot of stick.He never dreamed that he would find a woman bang on his height.Even now he says he would rather i wore flat shoes but i say it is only for a little while anyway.We have a 10 year old daughter and she is such a lovely little girl.We have had to get her height checked has she is abit shorter than kids in her class.Alot of the younger kids keep pointing it out to her.The doctor says that what do we expect when her mum and dad are short.I said that wasnt very nice to say to someone.We now hear her predicted height fully grown is going to be between 4'5 and 4'9.At the moment she is okay with it has she sees me and her dad are shorter than alot of the mums.It is a shame that we cant get help to make her grow taller but i think if she reaches 4'9 it is okay.When i look at her with her schoolfriends she is about 4 inches shorter than the next girl.Her bone structure is aged 7 and that is why some kids point it out to her i suppose.That is the only downside to being short is that it is a shame for kids.

I dont mind being short always have always will be.I am usually the shortest in a group of guys and sometimes woman.My height is 4'10 and i am aged 40.I still look younger than i am and some people get jealous about it.I wouldnt say i get jealous of a tall guy has i have always been like this anyway.At school it was the same i was 1 of the shortest in my year for most of the time.I was mainly on a parr with the girls.Some of the short girls loved me hanging around with them.I remember when i started secondary school i was 4'6 my blazer was near my knees my school shirts were long in the arms and my trousers were aged 7 instead of 12.When i started school i used to hang with the shorter people has i couldnt play football i was always knocked off the ball i was pushed and shoved in the corridors.I used to let alot of the kids get to class so i was not pushed along.I used to hate the name calling Shortstuff,Pint pot, Shortcake, and shortone.I was in a corridor walking and a boy thought it funny to lift me up to show me what it was like being 5'6 has he was.I just whacked him and said i wasnt a doll.In the years above me they were forever taking my schoolbag and putting it up high i had to wait for a teacher to pass it down.The worse thing was when i was in my last year i had a end of school disco i was age 15 one of the youngest in the year.I was about 4'8 there were 4 girls who were similar to me and i tried asking them to go with me.No such luck i was turned down flat.I managed to find a girl who was 5'2 she said okay.When i picked her up she decided to wear high heel and when i stept out of the car to meet her she was about 5'6 nearly a foot taller.We had our pics taken and the girl was asked if she minded taking her shoes off just for the picture.To which she did then they went back on.I had quite a few dances with her and then the last 2 were slow ones she kept her shoes on up to the the last song.All this time i was somewhere near her chest when we danced then she kicked her shoes off and it was a little better.That was the only time i was jealous in my life it did look quite funny though.I have a wife who is 5'0 tall so the extra 2 ins is good for me.We have a son who is 19 and he is 4'8 apparently that is all i could give him.He hates being that short people keep telling him that he can grow till he is 21 i dont think so though.I would have liked to help him if there was a way to get more height.Our daughter is 16 and already she is 5'4 i think she was lucky to get my mums height has she was 5'7.She seems to just keep growing.So it is to do with genetics which i really hate myself for doing this to our son.I never dreamed that he would end up this short and be older than his sister.

I think that people are jealous of one thing or another i wouldnt say one was being shorter than another person.I used to get angry when i was a child has i couldnt keep up with various friends.So i decided to hand out with the shorter children.I know that you dont see that many short guys around much.I used to be the shortest boy in my class and only the same height has some girls.Coming from average parents i could never work it out.My dad was 5'9 and mum 5'4.When i was at primary school i was made fun of by the boys in class.Some girls were really friendly and managed to stay friends throughout.I used to hate having our height measured has i knew i would be down one end and most of the boys up the other end.It must have been when i was nearly 11 we were checked before we went to secondary school.I was one of the oldest in class and one of the shortest.Between the shortest people and the tallest ones the height ranged from 4'4 to 5'4.I mentioned to my mum has to why i was shorter than the others and we got the doctor to check it out.I had a grandmother who was rather short she was 4'9.It was suggested that maybe my height is coming from her.I also had an older sister who was 5'2.The doctor did some tests and said that i still had some growing to do but not alot.I was measured by him and told i was 4'5,he said i was a few inches shorter than i should be but see what happens.When we started secondary school it was very frightening for the shorter children.In our group of friends there were 8 of us we were all pretty short.There was a mixture of girls and boys,some older boys used to call us the Imp gang.and anklebiters.i was called shrimpboy for no reason and shortie.I couldnt stand the dwarf word though.Has we went through school some of us managed to get a growth spurt and some still stood out. i was one that stood out i was 16 and 4'8 the most of the boys manged to get just over 5'0 Liam was my best friend and he was like me we were like bookends both the same height but all the girls loved us being this short.Some of the girls stayed short which was good for me and Liam.Liam was mainly called Little Liam which he hated even now he gets called it.I was about 16 and we had a disco at school.I had to find a suit which i got it was aged 12 the length was just right for me.I took Sarah with me and she was only only 4'6 i saw her mum and dad and both were short so i suppose that is why she is that way.She made up for it by wearing heels and because she cant wear high ones they just had a couple of inches on them.So on the day we were the same height

I wouldnt say i am jealous of a tall man, I just feel let down by my parents for both being short and making the whole family short.Take my mum she is 4'9 and dad is 4'11.They didnt take into account our feelings when they decided to have children.i come from a family of 5 children I am the oldest and 4'8 then is Justin he is 4'10 Millie is next and she is 5'0 up next is Jonathon he is 4'6 and Samantha she is 5'1.My parents decided to have one child after another so with me being 30 now they all followed me by one year.Who knows why our sisters got taller than us brothers.Our sisters feel very sorry about me and Jonathon has we are alot shorter than them.Poor Jonathon he is the youngest and 26 years old and he looks about 10.i do also look young but when i go out i find the shoes with a heel on them.It is not only looking younger than we are but me and Jonathon have trouble buying our clothes.i have a size 1 shoe and Jonathons is only a 12.I cant even be bothered to get my clothes in shops so i send my mum out some need taking up and others are just like too childish.Jonathon like to see what clothes he can fit in so he is ok but when i see the stuff it just has silly pictires on some of them.I noticed that the age he has to get is aged 8.I can get away with aged 12 years.I did try aged 15 but i had to have about 4 inches off the length of trousers.When i used to try to talk to my dad while growing up he was very distant never explaining just saying that we are all different.We have to accept who we are or no-one will.the last time i went to a club i had to show my i.d nothing unusual there.I just notice that i do get some funny looks and comments from men and woman it just isnt fair.The last date i went on i was 27 it was a kind of blind date.One of my friends set us up.Now she wasnt the tallest of woman she was 4'10.We were chatting and getting on well she kept telling me that she felt like 2 schoolkids on a date.Usually she like a taller guy.I am still on the lookout and i am now after a taller woman has i dont want my children being short like me,.

I think that the problem is that guys would love to be the alpha males out of the population.Of course guys want to be taller than woman and feel that they can protect their woman.Living in the real worl it aint like that when i step outside of my house i feel like the shortest guy around.That is because being 45 and 4'10 i am.I am used to tall guys pointing out that wow you're short.I have had nickname all through from the age of 10.The one that i still get called is little legs when i started senior school i had my school blazer on and it covered my knees and all you could see was the rest of my short legs.Primary school never bothered me has i was always saying to friends that i will catch up with them.Saying that i did for a short while then they had their growth spurts and that was it.Teachers in school was pointing out things to me like standing up straight i may be taller than, or find shoes with abit of a heel on them,My maths teacher alwats expected us to stand when we had to answer a question when it came to me i was always told to stand up.When i mentioned that i was standing he just said maybe you should bring in a stool.My dad was the one that gave me my height has he was 5'2 and mum was 5'6.my sisters were 5'7 and 5'8.I was 4'10 and my brother was 5'0.When my dad came up to parents evening one teacher said to me when dad wasnt there least we know where you got your height from then.I mentioned to dad and he said that you are always gonna get rude people in this world who think they are better than you.Just dont let them do so always try your best and everything will be fine.
I found a lovely woman to marry me when i was 25 she is obviously taller than me has the short woman never wanted to know.My wife is 5'9 and so about 11 ins taller.She never likes to wear high heels has she feels it would look very silly when we go out.I have shoes which have 4 inches in the heel these make me happier has i am then around 5'2 and she is still about 7 ins taller.We have a son who is taller than me he is 15 and already 5'6 i think he is still growing so that would be nice for him to be tall.Our daughter is a cutie she is 16 and she is 5'4 i would like to see her gow nice and tall but i feel that she may be coming to an end in her growth.She makes me laugh when she wears high heels and comes up to me and says laughing would you like some of my height dad i would if i could dont forget that.She then gives me a hug and with my slippers on i only come up to her shoulder.She finds it funny but she still respects me when i say something to her.She knows not to treat people different when they are tall or short.

I dont think that it is only guys that get jealous when they are short and there are tall guys around.I understand that it is nice being short and guys wanting to protect you.What i dont like is being 20 and 4'8 and people calling me cute and lovely.I just want to be treated the same has my sister who is 13 and she is already my height.She tells me all the time that she is going to grow taller than me very soon.I just say that she will be lucky has i finished growing at 11 years old and i only reached 4'8.I dont even bother to check my height now has it is too depressing.My mum says that Paula is still growing and she thinks she may get taller than me.That is from my mum who is 4'10 and my dad is 5'4.My brother is 22 and he is 5'6.I also have a sister who is 17 and she is 5'1.I remember when Coleen was 12 years old and she said to mum that she thought that she was taller than her.To mums surprise after checking both their heights Coleen was 5'0.I dont know where she got her final inch from.I always used to treat Paula abit harsh when she was growing up but now she is the one getting her own back on me.Behind mum and dad's back i get name calling from her saying i am a midget dwarf and i should be in snow white and the 7 dwarfs.I know that she is getting taller and that is probably why i get annoyed has i really didnt want to be the shortest in my family.When we have gatherings with other family members i get my aunts always saying that i still havent grown this has been going on for years.Now i just say to them No because i cant grow no more now anyway.I have cousins who are taller than me and they are younger.The girls are the worst and i always get from them come on Janine lets see who is the tallest and they already know.That is while Paula looks on and laughs, then she points out that Jessica is shorter than me and that i am taller than someone.When i look round it is true because she is only 8 years old and 4'6.Jessical makes me smile though has she knows that Paul is sometimes rude to me and that she loves giving me big hugs and cuddles has she is near to my height.So there is always a nice moment when someone makes me feel better.Even if i didnt get the sensitivity from my parents that i longed for.All i wanted was for my mum and dad to reassure me that okay i am short but i can still work with what i have.Dad has always just shrugged it away and says live with it.Mum is okay sometimes when she tells me how she felt when growing up.I mean it isnt has if my siblings are like over a foot taller has even with my brother being 5'6 is the only problem has when i try to talk to him he is like 10 ins taller and i am forever looking up to talk to him.I usually say can we sit down if someone is too tall then i am like eye level with them mostly.

I am short for my age i have just turned 17 and my height is now 4'11.I cant see myself growing anymore even though people say that men can grow till 21.I am jealous of a few things mainly to do with my height.Like when i see my younger sister reach things that i cant and she is 15 and 5'5.I can see her growing some more as well.I get jealous when when i see my tall friends being able to walk straight into cinemas when i get my id out.I hate it when my feet cant touch the floor of the cinema chairs as they are too high.I am the one fidgeting around on my seat because my feet are aching.Take last summer the whole family met up for a wedding of my cousins and he was over 6'0.When i saw the photo's a month later i didnt really notice myself being this short until i say my younger cousins taller than i.I was the same height has my 12 year old cousin and she was a girl.My sister is forever calling me shortstack and finds it amusing when i need the stool in the kitchen she starts to taunt me and puts me in a bad mood.I couldnt even get as tall as my mun she is 5'2, i always thought that would be nice but it never happened.When i go to the pub with friends they love standing up and by the end of the night my neck starts playing up if i have to stand.I usually try to find a bar stool so least then i can look properly at them has the stools are pretty high.Sometimes i have trouble reaching it.It is abit of a let down when a woman comes to chat to us and i get down from the stool and she notices that i am a few inches shorter than her.I have heard them snigger before now and walk off.I usually just say that it is their loss.

I have always hated my name Paul mainly because of the name i get called due to my height.My dad has always called me Small Paul since i was 10.Now my dad is quite a big chap also named Paul he gets called Tall Paul.Hence our height i am 4'10 and dad is 6'2.My mum is 4'9 and my older sister is 5'9.Surprisingly i got my mums height and Cassie got dad's height.I do love being short it is just some names i have been called due to it.I mean measuring the height of a 12 year old and being 20 isnt really good.My dad used to joke that when i reached mum's height that i was going to grow taller.I only gained about an inch on her in the end.That is until she wears high heels which she loves then she is taller.that is it from me

I wouldnt say that it is just men that find that being short height and seeing taller younger people than them.Of course some guys can find they get abit jealous.Who's to say that they just get jealous of tall guys what about taller woman.i know that guys like to be the taller one in a relationship but it isnt always possible.
I know also that they probably take alot more stick when they are short and it can often lead to them not getting respect from taller peers.
For me being short isnt a problem mainly because it is easier for a woman to accept it.I am now 20 years old and only 4'7,some of my friends from school are way taller than me.There is one and she is 5'10 over a foot taller.I has you know would never be tall in a group of people,i do have a cousin who is 8 at the moment and she is growing slowly but surely.I cant work it out if she is going to be average height has she is the shortest in her class.I try to talk to her if she has problems and how to deal with them has i know people can be very insensitive.I like to reassure her that she may grow taller .Even taller than me that would be nice for her.
I hated the fact that i was treated differently to my sister and brother has they both grew normal heights.Being younger than them helped me has if i had problems at school they were there to help me.I was never allowed to sleep in the top bunk has mum was always worried in case i fell out and got hurt.My dad made me some wardrobes and drawers which were lower than my sisters.She loved it has she used to say least you cant steal my clothes to wear.I just laughed and said yeah okay if i want to be swamped by them okay.She is now 23 and 5'8 and my brother is 5'10.What i dont like is people staring at me when i go to a pub i never get served anyway unless i am on a barstool.My friends usually get them in so we dont waiit too long.I am still looking for a boyfriend has i get fed up with guys coming up to me and they are over 6'0 tall.i have tried dancing with them and it is uncomfortable for me.My head in is their navel i cant have that.I want to find a nice short guy no taller than 5'5.I just cant find one which is annoying for me.

It is all to do with genetics if the parents are tall then children could be tall.It doesnt always work like that though.My dad is 5'6 and my mum is 5'4.Now i have an older brother who is 5'7 and an older sister who is 5'3.Me bing the youngest only reached 5'0.This was due to my nan who was 4'9 tall.so it can also go back to there.The answer is YES of course i am jealous why couldnt i have been like my brother and sister.I suppose at least i can blame it on them two getting the height rather than the youngest hey.When i see tall woman i cant help but notice.I am quite funny when it comes to seeing short woman has i always try to get up close and find out if i am taller of shorter than them.I cant help it i have always done it.I am now 20 years old and it probably has something to do with being short at school has i stopped growing when i 14 and found out that i was only 5'0.i had some short friends to hang around with has we wer always comparing our heights has we grew up.I loved wearing shoes with 2 inches on them and there was always a short girl who always managed to find out they had a heel on them.She used to point out that i wouldnt be this tall is i wore flats like everyone else.She was only 4'10 so i put it down to her being jealous or maybe she didnt think to do it.I have a couple of best friends and 2 are short like me and the other 3 are are between 5'5 and 5'9.Heidi the tallest always makes a point of saying that when she is around us littleuns she calls us she feels like she is in Lilliput has in the film.She does torment us when she puts her elbow on our shoulders.That is nothing like some people guys or woman they all do it and say to me How you doing down there and patt my head.I usually just say that i aint no dog so dont do it.

I am always feeling jealous of guys being taller than me.I hate being 5'0 tall and 22 years old.It is even more annoying when i see young girls taller than me.When the children are going to school i notice alot of tall ones.Not only boys but the girls also.I have had some girls asking me how old i am when i pass them,i usually answer them as if i dont then i get called names so it is better to.There has been a few times when i hadnt answered some boys and 1 came up to me and lifted me up he was about 6'0 over a foot taller than me.I get called midget alot and that is the worlds worse name to be called.This tall guy who lifted me up decided it would be funny to spin around my legs were flying out everywhere.He did it about 10 times and put me down.My head was spinning and has i tried to get away i just fell over and they all laughed.If that wasnt bad enough he then told me to shift it and called me a shrimp.That was one of the worst days i have had.

I wouldnt like to admit to being jealous of taller guys,my problem is being shorter than the woman out there.I mean some are okay and dont bother with my height but others will come up close and stand right next to me.I was in a pub and a woman and her friends were near to me and my friends.Now there was a tall woman she was about 5'9 but with high heels on now my head only came up to her shoulders.I was about 5 ins shorter than her.Now she was the only one to mention my lack of height saying to her friends that if she was with a short guy like me i would need to stand on a step just to kiss her.Has my friends overheard her Jason said loudly that i wouldnt giver her a chance anyway.Has i only like short woman, her face was a picture.She turned abit embarrassed and moved on her friends just laughed at her as well.
I find being short just makes me different to most of the people has i am 4'10 not quite making it to 5'0 which i would have loved better.I do find now that there are a few more short woman around the only problem being that that are that bit younger than me so it dont always help.

There wouldnt be anything to be jealous about especially height if we all accepted it in the first place.Of course a lack of height can be a pain but there are people worse of than us so dont worry.I know that there is the usual problems in life being short like having trousers altered.There is always going to be people staring and trying to judge themselves against you.Take a tall guy he is always going to think he is the alpha male.Yes a shorter guy probably would lose in strength to a tall guy.I learned ju-jitsui and also karate has i thought they would help me.It did in confidence and if a tall guy wants to pit his wits and take a chance on me i wouldnt hold back.Has long has i didnt start the trouble i am willing to defend myself.I am now 30 years old and my height is 5'1 i am married to my beautiful wife and she is 5'9.She used to think that she had to handle the problems when we went out with drunken guys wanting fights but i soon put them in their place.My wifes nickname for me is Little Big man.So dont forget you can try to bulk up has that helped me.

I do get jealous when i see taller people than me around.The problem with me is that having a twin brother and him being taller affected me throughout.We are both now 18 years old and Keith is a strapping lad he is 5'11,whereas i am only 4'10.It was something to do with not getting enough nutrients while my mum was pregnant.Keith weighed 8.5 and i was weighed at 2.10.I was always behind Keith while growing up i never managed to catch up with him.I had to endure people not believing us that we were infact twins it was so annoying.Take our 18th birthday we went to a pub and Keith and all our friends managed to just walk in i was stopped almost immediately.It was a good job that i had i.d on me has i was expecting it anyway.
