Starting this week, users of the Shodan search engine can view results directly on a map. The newly-introduced add-on, called Shodan Maps, enables users to see the locations of the devices they’re looking for directly on a map.

The Shodan Maps add-on works just like Google Maps or Bing Maps and can display up to 1,000 results at a time. Users can zoom into an area to narrow down search results.

Three different map styles are available: satellite, street view (light), and street view (dark).

When users click on the red dots that show up on the maps, they can see more information about the device, including the services it’s running and the owner of the IP space.

Users who want Shodan Maps will have to pay a $19 (€13.8) one-time fee. If you’re unhappy with it, you can ask for a refund.
