Evidently a sarcastic remark on our behalf, the headline is merely an informational update for those eager to learn how Apple is preparing to unveil its new products, which may or may not include a revamped Apple TV, new iPods, and perhaps other products.

The company headquartered at 1 Infinite Loop Cupertino, California is known to pull its online store on occasion, whether it’s for adjusting a few listings, or introducing all-new products.

This time around, however, the Mac maker is widely expected to showcase a new take on the Apple TV, unveil a new line of iPods, including a touch-screen nano and a FaceTime-capable iPod touch.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as speculators are concerned.

New versions of iTunes and iLife may well be on the table for today’s event, although none of them is a certainty until Apple CEO, Steve Jobs opens his mouth at 10:00 a.m. PDT today.

Apple’s Fall events generally focus on music, and this year’s gathering doesn’t seem to be any different.

Invitations sent out to select members of the media last week indicate that Apple’s autumn focus continues to be the iPod, even though company watchers are confident that a new Apple TV is being announced today.

Softpedia estimates that Apple’s online store will be up and running again minutes into the closing of today’s event (at most).

The company’s PR section is undoubtedly going to be refreshed as well, with announcements that may sound like “Apple Unveils The iPod that Feels.” Last minute rumors put the Cupertino electronics vendor on track to release a new iPod touch with support for Apple’s FaceTime, a video-chatting function typical to the iPhone 4.

The rumored sixth-gen iPod nano is supposed to have a small touch-sensitive screen and a silhouette that combines design features from the iPod shuffle and iPod nano lines.
