Go to RMTEE and look at the archived interviews. He says repeatedly that people will call him gay no matter how often he says straight so he gave up answering for a while. He started answering the question saying he was straight (Look up YouTube Ricky Martin Interviews- there are many where he says straight and talks of his girlfriend), and AGAIN the gay people started calling him a liar. No wonder it is no use him answering. I mean people don't look up the facts and just listen to a man who is trying to sell his skin care line by getting press.
Don't take my word for it - Ricky has been quoted repeatedly as saying he is straight!

I take it your as liberal as they come and I appreciate it. It's annoying to see all these self-righteous comments coz Ricky -or anyone for that matter- is gay. What the hell does it mattter as long as they are fabulous and living their lives in the best way possible.

I worked in the music business in New York and Boston for just over 12 years. OF COURSE Ricky Martin is gay. Everybody knows that...I was even introduced to one of his ex-boyfriends.. a backing singer.

I really thought that secret had come out years ago, but obviously not...Well it has now and rightly so.

So why did he have to have his twin boys to a surrogate mom? There is no mention of a female partner helping him to raise his new babies.

I regard this as a "jump the shark" ploy. It seems that when an entertainment personality has a career that has tanked they "come out". Kelly McGillis, Meredith Baxter, Ann Heche (oh wait she's now straight...or is she?), Ricky Martin, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some whose days of public acclaim are behind them. You may call it "brave", but to me it's a last desperate attempt for some free publicity.

I don't think that he's gay. He has kids, doesnt he? and, not to mention, people (especially people who are in skin care for famous people) love attention. It could very well be that it's a lie.

Who cares what his prefeence is ! Let the man live the life he chooses ....What he does is his business, and what we do is are business . Society places too much emphasis on one's sexuality, race and/or religion versus looking at each other as human beings. Who cares if he is straight or gay? Has his sexual preference hurt anyone.... NO. If society put as much emphasis on improving the American educational system or ensuring that insurance companies stop denying people the proper health coverage they desire (and pay premiums for) or other as they do "outing people, " perhaps society would make a positive difference in one's life.

He has always been and will always be a great performer and singer, why do I have to know who he likes that is his business. If he is still able to perform his job duties to the best of his abilites why does him being gay change what we think about him, I was never going to be in his league even if he was into women. I remember back in '98-'99 when this femme was all over the place, I was 17-18. I was extremely annoyed at how rediculous all the chicks got about him; it was completely unrealistic with all the fantasies they clung to. I thought it was sad (and not to get off topic here but there's a bunch more famous guys out there that have the same pathetic following.) I had never seen a guy so prettied up before he came on the scene and I knew that wasnt right as soon. I love Ricky Martin's music, videos and personal appearances. His sexual orientation is none of my business and there is a small part of me that wishes I wasn't inform of this information. I never wanted to meet this man, he was just a fantasy. To me, the perfect man... in watching his videos I just escaped into them. I have to say in watching these videos now, he is a great actor and well a a great entertainer and singer. Watch Fuego De Noche, Nieve De Día, tell me you don't feel the passion.

Just want to let you know that South African women are not impressed by liars. Whenever I see him on tv I turned it off. Cannot bear to look at him. Guess I should have known when he didnt have kids the way it was intended.
