Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer might intimidate his employees when he brings a baseball bat into meetings, but he fails to impress the experts at Glassdoor, the company behind the famous top 50 CEOs in the United States annual ranking.

As far as Glassdoor is concerned, Ballmer isn’t even one of the top 50 CEOs in America, as he still has an approval rating below the 50 percent threshold. According to older reports, he has a 47 percent rating and even if this is a significant improvement over the previous years, it’s still not enough to make the cut.

In case you’re wondering, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook is the clear leader with a 99 percent approval rating, followed by SAP’s Bill McDermott & Jim Hagemann Snabe with the same score.

Larry Page of Google snatched the eleventh place with 95 percent, while Marc Benioff, the famous leader of Salesforce.com reached the 13th spot with 94 percent.
