Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon Unlockables (GameBoy Advance)

Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention, more commonly referred to as Shining Force, is a 1992 turn-based strategy role-playing video game for the Mega Drive/Genesis console. While primarily a traditional fantasy-themed game, it contains some steampunk elements. Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon is a 2004 remake of the game for the Game Boy Advance console. It includes a significant amount of changes. Dark Dragon, who was defeated years ago by the ancients, has returned to earth. As people have forgotten about him, they are unprepared for the invasion.

Hordes of evil monsters were cast into the land. Max and his "Shining Force" are going to become the last hope of good and fight fiercely against Dark Dragon and his followers While the game is the first in the Shining Force series, it is technically the second game released in the greater Shining series, which began with Shining in the Darkness. The transition from Shining in the Darkness to Shining Force was a major change, with few elements between the two games being shared, save for the names of certain items and spells. Another significant change was in gameplay. Shining in the Darkness was a dungeon crawler in first-person perspective, while Shining Force was a third-person strategy RPG game.

Daring Dress Alternate Costume for Anri - Found after beating Battle 2 of Chapter 3. Repeatedly tap A on the brown mountains coming out of the gray mountains in the northeast corner.

Maid's Outfit Alternate Costume for Khris - Found after beating Battle 1 of Chapter 3. Repeatedly tap A on the wall where the Dark Elves were.

Teeny Bikini Alternate Costume for Tao and/or Narsha - Collect all the cards and then in the New Game+ talk to the woman in the hut by where Gong is obtained. She will give it to you.

Chaos Card
Chaos Card - Deliver the final blow to Chaos with Adam.

Hero Cards
Adam In Runefaust castle's entrance hall.

Alef - In a chest in Prompt.

Amon Balbaroy - will give this to you upon joining.

Anri - In a bookshelf in Manarina castle.

Arthur - After acquiring the Orb of Light, speak to Arthur in Manarina and he'll give you his card.

Bleu - After the battle with Kane, in Rudo talk to Karin, then Krin, then Karin twice.

Diane - In the first Pao location, in the pigpen.

Domingo - When Pao settles in its second location, speak with the pigs in town to find the card.

Earnest - Hidden in a bookshelf in Urbanatol

Gong - After recruiting Gong, talk to the woman inside the cabin to get his card.

Gort - After you recruit Gort, speak to his granddaughter in the basement near the center of town to get his card.

Hanzou - In a tree in Runefaust, near the pub.

Khris - After the fourth battle of the game, speak to Khris' admirer to receive the card.

Kokichi - Watch Kokichi's demonstration of his flying suit, then talk to his assistant to get this card.

Lyle - In a chest, in the northwest corner of Rudo.

Max - Acquired when you beat the game once.

Musashi - After talking with Kane in Prompt, search the large building with two doors. The card is on the wall between the doors.

Tao - After speaking with Anri in Manarina, find the mad scientist to be turned into a chicken. Tao's card is with the wizard who changes you back.

Torasu - In Prompt castle, on the bookshelf near the left elder.

Yogurt - In the front carriage of the Pao caravan in both settlements. Examine the control panel to receive it.

Zylo - Check the church sign in Bustoke.

Unlockable Characters
Arthur Chapter 2) - Talk to him before you leave Rindo

Domingo Chapter 4) - Take your egg to the Egg Warmer to get him

Gong Chapter 1) - Go to the house to the far east of the Guardiana region and talk to him to have him join you

Gort Chapter 1) - Listen to his stories before the first battle then talk to him when you get back.

Guntz Chapter 4) - Watch him test the steam suit and he joins later at the paopig pen.

Hanzo - Read all the signs in the mermaid village, then search the furniture in the church. Go to the big fish and he will join.

Kokichi Chapter 4) - Watch him fly his machine by searching it after he is freed and he will join when Pao leaves

Yogurt Chapter 4) - After sighting him once in each chapter before this, navigate in and around the church in Pao and he'll join you

Dark Dragon Card - Deliver the finishing blow with Mawlock

Villain Cards
Balbazak Card - Deliver the final blow to Balbazak with Earnest.

Colossus Card - Deliver the final blow to Colossus' center head using Luke

Dark Dragon Card - Have Mawlock deliver the final blow to Dark Dragon.

Darksol Card - Deliver the final blow to Darksol using Max

Demon Master Card - Have Narsha kill him.

Dullahan Card - Have Domingo kill it.

Elliot Card - Have Max kill him.

Ghoul's Card - Max has to finish her off.

Gobgovitch' Card - Narsha has to finish him off.

Hellhound's Card - Guntz has to finish him off.

Kane Card - Deliver the final blow to Kane using Max

Laser Eye - Anri must deliver the finishing blow in battle 3 of chapter 3.

Marionette's Card - Gort has to finish her off.

Master Mage Card - Have Mae kill him.

Mishaela - Max must deliver the finishing blow in the final battle of chapter 6.

Pegasus Knight Zylo - must deliver the finishing blow to the final Pegasus Kt. in battle 2 of chapter 3.

Ramladu Card - Deliver the final blow to Ramladu using Narsha

Rune Knight's card - Max has to finish him off.

Silver Knight Tao or Anri - must deliver the finishing blow in battle 3 of chapter 3.

Skeleton Card - Have Anri kill it.

Soul Eater Card - Have Zuika kill it.
