Shia is determined to prove he’s “the most dedicated” actor on set of “Fury”

Not that he needed any more negative media attention after the plagiarism controversy and the fake apologies, but Shia LaBeouf is getting it either way: according to fresh reports, he’s been grossing out everyone on the set of “Fury” with his refusal to shower.

Even co-star Brad Pitt, who, in his turn, has occasionally been plagued by rumors of very bad personal hygiene, is sick to his stomach by Shia’s refusal to shower and, consequently, does whatever he can to spend as little time as possible in his presence.

It is all part of Shia’s plan to go fully Method and, at the same time, prove to the world that he’s the “most dedicated” actor on the set of “Fury,” which is now shooting in the UK, British tabloid the Daily Mail writes, citing sources inside the production.

So far, the only thing he’s proved is that he’s very unlikable and a true pain to be around.

“Shia was warned about his behavior by several people on set, including Brad Pitt and director David Ayer. He didn’t heed any of their warnings and found himself staying in a small bed-and-breakfast hotel away from the rest of the cast,” says the spy.

And that’s not even the worst part.

“Shia drove everyone mad on set trying to prove that he was the most dedicated star. He pulled out his own tooth during the first few weeks of filming and then refused to shower for weeks on end so he could better understand how his character would have felt living in the trenches,” the tipster continues.

The report, as ridiculous as it might sound, falls in line with older rumors about how Pitt was finding Shia’s Method acting a bit too “intense” for his liking, even though he initially did his best to bond with him.

Those older rumors said that, right now, Pitt only wanted to get on set, get his work done, and see about his business and have as little interaction outside work with Shia as possible.
