Actor continues to behave erratically, is probably still pulling a PR stunt

Shia LaBeouf attended the Berlin Film Festival over the weekend to promote the latest Lars von Trier movie, “Nymphomaniac,” but he did little in terms of actual promoting, showing up for the press conference and storming out after answering just one question.

Video of the whole thing is embedded below.

As if that wasn’t enough, Shia also showed up on the red carpet wearing a paper bag on his head, with holes cut out for the eyes and the writing “I’m not famous anymore” on it. Attached to this article is a photo of Shia wearing it.

As for the stunt he pulled during the press conference, the actor took just one question from the media, concerning the many explicit scenes included in the movie.

“When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much,” LaBeouf said, and then got up and left. He never came back, much to the dismay of the journalists present there, but his co-stars seemed amused by his behavior.

Speaking of which, Shia has been acting out for quite some time now, right after he got busted plagiarizing a popular novel in his directorial short film debut. He apologized afterwards on Twitter, plagiarizing other people’s apologies and even hired planes to carry written apologies over Hollywood, where he was sure people would notice.

Then, he announced he would retire from the spotlight, which also included social media but, you guessed it, he never did. A few days ago, Shia’s publicist sent out emails to various LA art galleries with a proposal for a performance that would see him “humiliated” by his angry fans.

In said performance, Shia would also be wearing a paper bag on his head with the writing “I’m not famous anymore,” so, if you’re thinking his Berlin appearance was just a PR stunt, you’re probably right.
