Shia LaBeouf Admits He Slept with Megan Fox

For many months back in 2009, reports had it that co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox were more than just friends, despite how much they tried to downplay rumors of a romance. In a brand new interview with Details, Shia confirms that the story was, in fact, true.

As we also reported at the time, while shooting for “Transformers,” Megan went through a series of breakups and reconciliations with her current husband, Brian Austin Green.

In between them, she also had an affair with Shia – and Shia is the one to confirm it in the Details interview.

“Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” he says, when asked directly if he and Megan ever slept together.

“I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen,” the actor adds.

In fact, their good onscreen chemistry was the first thing that got people talking about a possible romance going on when the cameras were not rolling.

The two never owned up to the affair below.

Nevertheless, Shia wouldn’t say if Megan cheated on Green with him, or if she was not with him at the time the affair took place.

“When I inquire about Fox’s status at the time with her longtime boyfriend, Brian Austin Green, LaBeouf replies, ‘I don’t know, man. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know...’ – repeating the phrase exactly 12 times with various intonations, as if trying to get it just right,” Details rights.

He doesn’t get it right, but he does come to a conclusion. “It was what it was,” he says, signaling he’s no longer willing to talk about the affair.
