Singer Sheryl Crow announced she would marry her long-term boyfriend, cyclist Lance Armstrong, at Santa Barbara's luxury Bacara Resort. It appears the couple decided to tie the not in April, at the swanky resort, a place where Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears wanted to marry as well.
Crow confessed that her wedding dress would be designed by Ralph Lauren, with whom she's a good friend, especially for this event.
She told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "My wedding dress is going to be made by Ralph Lauren. Ralph is a very old friend of mine and I'm really flattered that he's agreed to do it because he has only made wedding gowns for a couple of people before."
And it seems that not only the dress will be made by the famous designer. A source told America's New York Post newspaper: "Everything from the dress down to the candles and flatware will be from his collections."
The couple met in late 2003 at a charity event, just a few months after Lance divorced his wife, former Kristin "Kik" Richard, with whom he has three children: Luke, and twin girls Grace and Isabelle, all by in vitro fertilization.
Armstong is most famous for recovering from testicular cancer to subsequently win the Tour de France a record seven consecutive times-1999 to 2005. His success prompted some to nickname the event the "Tour de Lance."
