Rock singer Sheryl Crow got engaged to her boyfriend, cyclist Lance Armstrong, after 2 years of dating. Sheryl and Lance are considering a spring wedding according to an announcement by the cyclist's spokeswoman, reports the BBC.

The couple met in late 2003 at a charity event, just a few months after Lance divorced form his wife, former Kristin "Kik" Richard, with whom he has three children: Luke, and twin girls Grace and Isabelle, all by in vitro fertilization.

Armstong is most famous for recovering from testicular cancer to subsequently win the Tour de France a record seven consecutive times-1999 to 2005. His success prompted some to nickname the event the "Tour de Lance."
