Shortly after the dust settled after Lance Armstrong’s doping confession on Oprah, people started wondering out loud (online, that is) just how much of this did his former girlfriend Sheryl Crow know. The video below will probably offer a slight indication about that.

Entertainment Tonight caught up with the singer, who is now promoting her upcoming stint on The Voice as a voice mentor, and asked her about it.

It’s clear that Sheryl isn’t particularly thrilled about talking about this so, in the preview video, she insists only on how the truth is always the correct path.

“I think that honesty is always the best bet and that the truth will set you free. It must be really hard walk around knowing you are not telling the truth about something. So I always contend that the truth is the best way to go,” she says.

Sheryl doesn’t even mention whether she knew about the doping or not but, hopefully, she will be less evasive in the full interview, which airs today.
