Finally some good news. The world's most infamous crack-head of the moment, Amy Wino, has finally been persuaded to say "yes" to rehab. Amy has called off all concerts and public appearances for the rest of the year. The troubled singer has taken the drastic decision after releasing a statement in which she claimed that she can't "give it her all" on stage without her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently on remand in London's Pentonville prison awaiting trial for allegedly perverting the course of justice.

She said: "I can't give it my all on stage without my Blake. I'm so sorry but I don't want to do the shows half-heartedly. I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it's just not the same". The 24-year-old star - who has well documented problems with drink and drugs - has reportedly been advised to take "complete rest" by her doctors. Amy had been due to perform at the Bournemouth International Center last night, and Cardiff International Arena today, with further dates scheduled for Dublin, Belfast, Manchester and London next month. The fact is, it's probably a blessing for everyone that Amy decided to sit the rest of her scheduled gigs out, since her latest performances have been nothing short of disastrous.

The singer's concert promoter Live Nation issued a statement, saying that: "Amy has canceled all remaining live and promotional appearances for the remainder of the year on the instruction of her doctor. The rigors involved in touring and the intense emotional strain Amy has been under in recent weeks have taken their toll. In the interests of her health and wellbeing Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues".

Her mother-in-law, hair salon owner Georgette Civil, 42, said last night she was "delighted" by the decision to scrap the remaining six dates of the tour. She said: "Now we can get her into rehab and persuade her to get the professional help she needs. I am so relieved. Canceling the tour is the best thing she could have done". Yes, well, gotta go with her on that one. Good luck to our Wino and we will keep you posted.
