Looks like Brit is very fond of white dresses these days

Well, hello there Britney addicts. Joke. There's no such thing as a real Britney addiction anymore. No, that was the case almost ten years ago, when the current popwreck was still reasonably clean-looking and millions of teenagers around the world were still looking up to her. As I said, ancient history. All that's left these days is an obsessive-compulsive need to actually find out what crazy things have been going on in the fallen pop princess' life - and despite the fact that Brit's dad Jamie seems to be struggling to keep it all together for his daughter, there's still plenty of crazy going on. I don't know if it's because Britney's mental illness is really difficult to keep under control, or simply because Britney is still essentially a spoiled brat used to having people do the impossible for her in exchange for nothing.

Latest such example? Well, Britney seems to have developed a liking for throwing tantrums in Betsey Johnson shops. It's where she once had a serious meltdown, stripped naked on another occasion - and now she's done it again. A couple of weeks ago, Brit walked into a Betsey Johnson boutique on Melrose Avenue holding a Dolce & Gabbana dress and asked the people at the store to copy it in white. Oh, and she also wanted it ready by that evening. "The staff explained that they didn't have a dressmaker on call who could do it in time" says a witness. They probably didn't even mention to Britney that it wasn't their own design and therefore couldn't copy it - I'm sure she wouldn't have understood a word they were saying.

In an even stranger twist, Britney made it clear that she wasn't interested in any of the clothes on sale, but wanted to buy a a wig. "The only thing she wanted to buy in the store was the yellow wig on a mannequin in the window. The manager eventually agreed to offer it to her for $100" the source adds. I think they were all so relieved that Britney hadn't broken, stained or trashed anything in the store that they agreed to sell her the wig. I have a feeling she would have stolen it anyway. That's just our Brit - conservatorship or no, I think someone needs to adjust her meds - again - and maybe prescribe some extra ones, 'cause the things she's on at the moment don't seem to work. Kidding. Well, sort of.
