She's OUT! Britney Is out of the Psych Ward!This is bad news for everyone... |

I really think we should start a separate "Britney" section on our website - the sooner the better. And we should definitely get two, maybe even three people writing about the popwreck nonstop, each centered on one of her specific moods. For example, there would be someone in charge of the "manic Britney", someone else dedicated to "The crazy people in Britney's life who are taking advantage of her and then selling their stories to the magazines" and finally someone dealing with "Britney's vagina and boob flashes, stained clothes and messy weaves" - although I honestly think that person should have a very strong stomach. I've been joking so far, but the point I was trying to make was that in the whole Britney saga, there are so many unexpected twists and turns, so many changes of attitude and so many unexpected revelations that it's hard for one person to keep track of everything and keep objective at the same time.
So, what's the latest on Britney? Well, incredibly and despite being carried off to hospital and committed to a psych ward against her expressed consent, the troubled singer was allowed to leave the UCLA Medical Center yesterday, and is back to her old tricks of hooking up with her paparazzi friends and spending the night in hotels. And let me tell you, her family is not happy about this. When I first heard that Britney was out, I half-hoped her mother would be taking her back to Louisiana and away from the toxic influence that is Hollywood, but it seems I was wrong (yeah, I know, big surprise). Britney was out, and already there were several dramatic scenes unfolding around her, with her car being chased by at least 20 paparazzi cars and a few media helicopters at one point. Looks like it's business as usual with the popwreck. Again...
In the meantime, Britney's parents just released this statement, expressing their concern at their daughter's early release. "As parents of an adult child in the throws of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted".
The fact is, Britney seems to be begging for attention from the paparazzi. As soon as she was released she went home, then almost immediately hit the streets again in her car and even took one of the paps with her in the car, then drove with her windows down and finally hooked up with her on again / off again boyfriend Adnan at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Together, they went to Briney's lawyer office and back to the hotel - where a couple of hours later Britney's dad reportedly came carrying legal papers and asking for the hotel management's cooperation in taking his daughter home safely. No word on what happened next, but stay tuned - and we'll be back with all the hot news.
