Some of them even compare him to Hitler, wish him dead

Justin Bieber is a huge star – and this holds water regardless of whether one’s a fan or not. A few days ago, a man named Greg Leuch created an extension for the web browser that blocks all Justin Bieber-related content on your PC, from name references to photos, thus making the Internet a Bieber-free place. As PopSugar can confirm, Leuch has been receiving thousands of death threats since he came out with the add-on.

According to Leuch, it only took him about 6 hours to create the Shaved Bieber application and, since he hasn’t received word yet from camp Bieber (his management, not his fans), he’s also thinking of coming out with similar applications to block Lady Gaga, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. Biber’s fans (or the Beliebers, as they like to be called) are none too happy about the application, with some of them even going as far as to threaten Leuch, while others threatened to run away from home if their parents installed the application on their computer.

“I just wanted to give you the heads up that you will have MANY people that are enraged with you. I’m talking 5,000,000. Me included. I realize that you’re just stating an opinion, but what you’re doing is going back to World War II all over again. Hitler wanting to erase Jews from society – you want to erase Justin Bieber...” a very upset fan from Switzerland, named Alex and age 15, writes on one of the many websites that have been flooded with complaints and words of outrage.

Following the downpour of vocal abuse, Leuch has taken to his Twitter to document world’s reaction to his application. Some users (albeit very few in number) congratulate him for the wonderful piece of software that now effectively removes all mentions of the teen singer from their computers. Others, though, wish Leuch a slow and painful death, while some, on the verge of tears and desperation, threaten to run away from home should their parents get the twisted idea of installing the application on their PC.

“He’s taking the threats in stride and has posted them online as they appear. Other fans have been reduced to tears by the new application. One Belieber used her Twitter account to tweet the horror of having the Internet without Justin Bieber after her parents downloaded the program. ‘Mum put that shaved bieber thing on all our computers!’ she tweeted. ‘I’m like crying, I hate u sooo much mum’,” Don Peat of QMI says, as cited by PopSugar.
