And by other end, we mean the presumed plans that Sharp has made for its IGZO display technology (indium gallium zing oxide).
For one thing, rumor has it that Sharp will make good on the deal it has signed with Samsung for providing the latter with IGZO screens. 11.6-inch laptop panels will ship soon, though no exact time frame was specified.
Secondly, Sharp has recently announced 32-inch UHD IGZO displays, but did not start shipping them. The report now says that sales will start in Taiwan in June, for NT$149,000, which corresponds, according to exchange rates as they are at present to US $5,000 / 3,833 EUR.
