A Chinese report picked up by Topeka Capital Markets says Foxconn will be receiving large quantities of LCD panels from Sharp to begin assembling the much-hyped, and even more-rumored Apple HD television product.

The report says the original plan was to have the panels shipped to Foxconn in Q4. For one reason or another, the partnering companies decided to move faster.

21cbh.com allegedly spoke with a Sharp executive whose sources suggested that the full-fledged Apple television would arrive before the holiday season this year.

Needless to point out, we’ve been hearing these rumors for the past two years now, and Apple still won’t barge. Perhaps everyone is looking in the wrong direction.
