Also, no official details about its availability or price

It seems that this week FCC (Federal Communications Commission) has approved a brand new Sharp handset - the GX29. Unfortunately, because of the short-term confidentiality politics requested by Sharp, the above phone doesn't have any pics posted on the official site of the manufacturer.

Anyway, the technical features of the Sharp GX29 had transpired, and we already know that the phone is a tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 Mhz and that is meant to be available in North America.

Also, the clamshell has a main 1.9 inch TFT 260k color display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution, and a secondary black and white STN screen, with backlight on the front. The phone has Bluetooth connectivity for transferring data from a computer, and WAP 2.0 for browsing the web on the GPRS networks. Regardless of its cheap quality, the handset also features a disappointing VGA digital camera of 0.3 megapixel (318k), which will probably not help users too much when it comes to those precious moments capturing.

Measuring exactly 93.8 x 46 x 20.3 mm, it weighs only 90 grams. There are no details about Sharp's GX29 availability, not to mention its price.
