Android fans in Japan will be happy to know that major carrier SoftBank will launch two high-end smartphones soon, the Sharp Aquos Xx and Aquos Xx mini.

GSMArena reports that both high-end smartphones offer LTE support and come in various flavors. For example, the Aquos Xx will be available in Japan in blue, white, black and pink flavors, whereas the mini version will be released in turquoise, black, white, red, blue, gold, light pink and vivid pink.

Hardware-wise, the smartphones will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors, Adreno 330 GPUs, 2GB of RAM and NFC (Near Field Communications) connectivity.

The Aquos Xx boasts a larger 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, while the mini version features a “smaller” 4.5-inch display.

It is also worth mentioning that the former packs a 16.3-megapixel rear camera and a high-capacity 2600 mAh Li-Ion battery, whereas the latter sports a 13.1-megapixel photo snapper and a 2120 mAh Li-Ion battery.

Japanese customers will be able to buy the Sharp Aquos Xx via SoftBank from December and the Aquos Xx mini from February.
