The specifics of the lawsuit have yet to be revealed

We've only just finished writing about an Apple-Samsung lawsuit and there’s already another demanding our attention, involving Sharp, Dell and two others.

Sharp's TFT business in North America and Europe has come under fire from Dell and a pair of other plaintiffs.

The motives are unclear, as are the identities of those two companies, but the matter may have something to do with the LCD price fixing charges leveled against Sharp, LG, Toshiba, Samsung and CPT.

If the issue is similar, AT&T and Nokia, who placed price-fixing litigation charges of their own a while back, may be those two other plaintiffs.

At any rate, Sharp has agreed to pay Dell and those two others, whoever they are, $198.5 million / €161.73 million. It is “the best possible course of action” after “comprehensively considering the American civil justice system.”
