It looks like Sharp has just entered the Russian market with its Aquos SH930W smartphone a bit later than expected.

Initially slated for a November release, Sharp Aquos SH930W has just been released in Russia and is now available for purchase for no less than 21,900 rubles outright, which is about $710 or €540.

The folks at Hi-Tech.mail.ru have just published several hands-on pictures with the device, which is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Hardware-wise, the Aquos SH930W is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 225 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

The phone’s main selling point is the stunning 5-inch Sharp IGZO display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. In addition, the smartphone boasts an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
