The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor

Major carrier SoftBank has just announced the upcoming availability of the powerful Sharp AQUOS PHONE Xx 203SH smartphone.

Although it’s still unclear if the device will be shipped with Android 4.0 or 4.1 out of the box, the carrier confirmed the AQUOS PHONE Xx 203SH would equipped with a powerful 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.

In addition, the smartphone has been confirmed to pack 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

It is also worth mentioning that Sharp AQUOS PHONE Xx 203SH is IPX5/IPX7 dust- and water-proof, and boasts an impressive 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 1.2 front-facing camera for video calls.

No word on the phone’s price tag yet, but official word is that Sharp AQUOS PHONE Xx 203SH will arrive at SoftBank in early 2013.
