At 52 years old, Sharon Stone can still command the attention of twentysomething men. Not only that but, as she reveals for the June 2010 issue of More magazine, she gets so much of it she could actually say it outweighs that from men of her own age. In the same interview, the singer also talks about the “Sharon Stone persona” and her current love life.

Except that the latter is almost non-existent. The star, who has quite a reputation of a genuine vixen, says that, at the moment, things are not really that peachy as regards her love life: if she were to compare it to anything, she’d probably do so with the Mojave desert. Yet, believe it or not, there’s a silver lining to the crowd, as Sharon sees herself like a desert flower of sorts.

“Life and love is like the ocean. Sometimes the tide is in and sometimes the tide is out, and sometimes it’s like the frigging Mojave. Where’s the tide now? For me? Mojave! Fortunately, I like the desert. I’m a desert flower,” the actress explains. The actress is also featured on the cover of the magazine in a classic men’s white shirt, unbuttoned except for one button that seems to hang on for dear life. Of course, as fans would know, this is actually Sharon being her most demure.

As for still being a hit with men half her age, Sharon says that’s common occurrence. “I really get pursued by men in their twenties, like, a lot. They probably know there’s food in the fridge and that somebody’s there to talk to them and ask them how their day was,” she explains. She doesn’t date them, though, because that’s something Sharon Stone the public persona would do, and she and her have nothing in common. “I could cry telling you about it, because people don’t know that Sharon Stone character is an invention… my friends and I laugh so hard, because our joke is ‘Baby you do Sharon Stone better than anyone else’,” the star adds.

In the same issue of More, Sharon also explains why she’s shameless and how she plans never to apologize for it. For more on this, please refer here, or pick up the latest issue of the magazine, out at newsstands this week.
