The Basic Instinct star is set to play in one of the films to feature in the upcoming "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" series from horror-master Stephen King. According to AFR, Sharon Stone arrives to shoot her scenes in October.

The 47-year-old actress will team with William H.Macy, in one of the better yarns in the "Nightmare and Dreamscapes" series.

The movie tells the story of Clyde Umney, a private detective who discovers that he is actually the character in a book written by Samuel Landry.
The writer arrives and wants to swap places with him. After the meeting, Umney suddenly finds himself living as a real person, not a storybook character, and must learn many things we take for granted.

Rising newcomer Bert LaBonte, last seen in the play "The Inner Sanctum" and also the co-star of "Evil Never Dies" starring Thomas Gibson and Katherine Heigl, has been contacted to play Otis Reddding in one of the other "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" films.

Max Beck, owner of that lovely Kalaf Alaton-designed mansion on The Esplanade in Brighton is in negotiations with the filmmakers to allow themto use his smashing home for the film for a couple of weeks.

There will be eight one-hour episodes of the series.


Meanwhile, Sharon Stone signed up for another movie title When a Man Falls in a Forest (2007), in which she plays a Kleptomaniac woman.
