Using the words “cheap” and “gaming headset” in the same sentence usually involves a “not” somewhere, but this one time, Sharkoon wants to break the mold.

That is why the company officially launched the Sharkoon Rush Core stereo headset, supposedly a low-cost gaming set of headgear.

Seeing the price of €16.99 / $23.44, I have to admit the company actually managed it.

Spec-wise, the new Rush Core stereo headset boasts 40 mm speakers, two 3.5 mm stereo jacks (headset and microphone, respectively), a 2.5-meter cable (8 feet) and a volume control integrated in said cable. Complete microphone muting is possible too.

Other things worthy noting are the padded earpieces and headband, the black/white color scheme, and the bundled transport bag.

The maximum power of the headphone set is 150 milliwatts.
