Sharkoon has recently expanded its range of ATX chassis with the addition of the T5 Value model, which adds a series of higher-end features to the Sharkoon T5 Economy case that was presented in March of this year.

All these are meant to make the chassis more attractive in the eyes of enthusiasts who want to build a feature rich system without spending an arm and a leg in the process.

As a result, the T5 Value has now received the addition of a front-panel USB 3.0 port, a side acrylic window and also comes pre-fitted with two 120mm LED fans (front and rear) that should improve the airflow inside the case.

Just as the previous T5 Economy, the Value offers five installation bays for 5.25-inch drives behind its mesh front panel, plus additional space for another five 3.5-inch drives and seven extension cards.

With the help of a special mounting frame, the 3.5-inch bays can also be equipped to house drives that use the 2.5-inch form factor, which is extremely popular among SSD manufacturers.

As is the case with the majority of the computer enclosures that were launched in the last few years, the T5 Value also sports an inverted layout, which places the PSU at the bottom of the case, as well as pre-drilled holes for installing a water-cooling loop.

In addition to the USB 3.0 port, the Sharkoon T5 Value's front-panel also includes three USB2.0 ports and a pair of audio jacks, for connecting a headset.

The Sharkoon T5 Value is immediately available to end customers for the suggested retail price of 54.90 Euros from authorized retailers.

Besides the two T5 cases, Sharkoon's T-Series also includes the T9 Value and T9 Economy models, which include nine 5.25-inch installation bays.
