14 DAY TRIAL // I’m not ashamed to admit that I loved almost every horrible minute of “Piranha 3D,” even though I had a hard time sitting through the sequel. With this in mind, you will understand why I’m quite hyped about “Sharknado.”
Above is a first official trailer for the film, which is a SyFy channel original and is as silly as its name.
I will let the official synopsis explain to you just how ridiculous it is: “When a freak hurricane swamps Los Angeles, thousands of sharks terrorize the waterlogged populace. And when the high-speed winds form tornadoes in the desert, nature’s deadliest killer rules water, land, and air.”
In case you’re not convinced yet, the bad acting, the awful VFX, and pretty much everything else in the trailer should do the job.
As a bonus, there are several once-famous TV actors making appearances.
