In this sense, accompanying the Office 2010 Developer Training Kit is a similar resource, but focused on the most recent iteration of SharePoint. The SharePoint 2010 RTM Developer Training Kit is now live on the Microsoft Download Center. Offered as a free resource, the SharePoint 2010 dev kit comes with the promise of providing advanced guidance on how to build on top of the successor of SharePoint 2007.

SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010 were released to manufacturing on April 15th, 2010, and are already available for download to developers. Of course, there are additional resources from Microsoft that devs can take advantage of when it comes down to developing for SharePoint 2010. In this sense, MSDN is not offering only the RTM bits for SharePoint 2010 and Office 2010, but also dev resources. In addition, Channel9 also delivers a consistent collection of dev content and training, also free of charge.
