14 DAY TRIAL // Windows 8.1 is now available for everyone and in an attempt to promote the operating system, Microsoft is now launching a contest supposed to show the benefits of sticking to the Start screen.
Starting today for the next 8 days, Microsoft will give $10 (€7.35) promotional Windows Store gift cards to those who take a screenshot of their Start screen and post it on Twitter with the #MyStart hashtag.
“Winners will be informed via Direct Message on Twitter. This sweepstakes is for participants in the U.S. only. However, we would still love to see Start screens from people around the world and in different languages!” Microsoft explained.
Windows 8.1 can easily take a screenshot of their Start screen by simply pressing the print screen buttons on their keyboards or by clicking on the Share Charm > Start > Screenshot.
