Shannen Doherty is taking the high road in what could have been a very nasty feud between herself and former “Beverly Hills 90210” co-star Jason Priestley, over one anecdote he included in his recently released memoir, concerning her.

The actress was on Arsenio Hall the other day and, Us Weekly informs, instead of saying bad things about Jason because he’d written something negative about her in his book, she just laughed the whole thing off.

The anecdote in question was about how much of a diva she was back in the day when she was still part of the cast of the hit TV series, and how she complained about being picked up and taken to the airport in a town car instead of a limousine, which she obviously deemed a more fitting mode of transportation for someone of her status.

Jason recalled the episode with some humor and even said that he didn’t know if Shannen was joking or not. However, fans might remember, the old Shannen would have really taken offense at it and probably started a new celebrity feud.

Not the 2014 Shannen, though, “It was so long ago. I always say that everyone has their own version of the truth, and memories are very funny things,” she says.

In the same interview, the actress talks about another former co-star getting a lot of media attention these days, Tori Spelling, who is starring in a Lifetime docuseries about her marriage crisis, after Dean McDermott was exposed in the media for cheating on her last year.

Shannen says her heart “does break” for Tori but, at the same time, she stresses that all this drama makes for very fascinating, can’t-pry-your-eyes-off type of television.

“Wow, it's just all out there! She is baring her soul and I think that everybody has their process of what's cathartic for them in how to deal with something, and this might be hers. [T]hat's pretty awful and I certainly hope everything works out for the best. And in meantime, it's making for some amazing TV,” she says.

Shannen also hopes that Tori “loves herself” enough to find the strength to not pay attention to haters and, most importantly, to work through her problems with Dean.

Speaking of Tori’s problems with her husband, two new teasers for the reality series hint that we’ve only seen the top of the iceberg so far.

One video shows a heartbroken, crying, hysterical Tori telling Dean to “do something” to save the marriage, even though she has no idea what that something might be, while the other explains that this new fight between the two led to an emergency hospitalization for Tori, as she started suffering from terrible stomach pains.
