The game has been made available as a beta version, but it seems to be quite stable

Shank 2, the sequel to the amazing Shank 2D platformer created by the Klei Entertainment studio, has been launched officially on Steam for Linux, albeit as a beta version.

Shank 2 has been met with critical acclaim by gamers and critics alike. A Steam for Linux version was bound to happen especially because it was ported with a Humble Indie Bundle.

The game appeared in the CDR database a while ago (a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service), but there was no information on the release date.

If you buy Shank 2 or if you already have it, you will have to right-click the Steam entry in the Library, select Properties and then the Beta tab. Opt in for the Beta and the game will start to download.
