Take a look at the stylized brawler before its release next month

Klei Entertainment and EA have just posted a fresh batch of screenshots from their upcoming Shank 2 side-scrolling brawler, right after a release date was confirmed for it last week.

Shank 2 promises to improve on the already impressive experience delivered by its predecessor, with refined combat and simpler boss fights that don’t rely on gimmicks.

Now, shortly after the two companies have confirmed that the game is coming at the beginning of February on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, a fresh batch of screenshots have been revealed.

As you can see above and below, Shank 2 delivers the same stylized experience, although quite a few new things can be observed, from mounted turrets to a scene where the hero needs to avoid missiles. There’s also a screenshot of the new Survival cooperative mode, which replaces the story-based one we saw in the original Shank.

Check out all the images in the gallery below and get ready for Shank 2 on February 7, for the PC and North American PlayStation Network, and on February 8, for the Xbox Live Arcade and European PSN users.
