The actress is not at all modest as you can see from a recent interview

Kristen Stewart is still in the news, for some unknown reason, but probably because of her ever-enduring “Twilight” fame and because of her relationship with Robert Pattinson which is now a memory of glorious times past.

Stewart has recently made the cover of the German magazine Interview, together with actress Juliette Binoche, with whom she stars in the movie “The Clouds of Sils Maria,” and what she had to say will leave your jaw lying on the floor, because it sounds smug, self-entitled and basically very low-brow.

Both actresses were giving opinions on the state of acting and the industry, when Kristen pulled out this pearl of wisdom, “I never have to beg for a role, I can get any role with a snap of my fingers, and I don’t have to fight and struggle on my way up, like some other actors.” Yes, that just happened.

It's hard to imagine Kristen as anything else than a spoiled brat who just got lucky to land a movie that enjoyed international fame because of the raging hormones of pubescent girls, and now she thinks that she has Hollywood wrapped around her finger.

We're going to ignore for the moment the people who consider her a poor actor at best because of her inability to convey inner feelings using facial expressions (something which has turned her into a meme on the internet). Even if she were a great actress, saying that you can get any role just by snapping your fingers is very poor taste.

But she didn't stop there, she went on to say that “I imagine a huge map with lots of streets and roads, and the only thing I have to do – is choose, where do I want to stay. Every door is open for me. I had a conscienceless amount of luck in my life. And it’s enough to understand: I love to play in blockbusters because I know, everyone’d watch them, they attract people, they’re easy to take and they’re enjoyable.”

She seems to forget the fact (or maybe she willingly chooses to do so) that her career actually took a big hit after the Rupert Sanders scandal and now she does art-house movies simply because she can't get blockbuster roles anymore.

Let's remember that the good people in Hollywood actually chose to rewrite the script for the “Snow White and the Huntsman” sequel and cut her out of the film, instead of bringing her back. This, in spite of the fact that she was playing the title role of Snow White and it was basically a story about her.

She can snap her fingers as many times as she wants, but the fact of the matter is that there are many actresses out there that are better than her and more humble. Jennifer Lawrence is just one example.
